Sara Lemke, MA, LCPC, CADC

Sara is Revival Therapy’s founder. She decided in 2020 with the pandemic coupled by social and political unrest that there was a great need for more mental health services in her community.

She decided to leap and start her own counseling practice, Revival Therapy. With over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health industry, Sara is able to provide competent treatment for a multitude of issues that often bring individuals to therapy.

She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor, as well as, being certified in DBT (dialectical behavior therapy). Her areas of expertise are: depression, anxiety, mood disorders such as bipolar disorder, substance abuse issues, personality disorders, grief, divorce, PTSD, co-dependency, narcissistic abuse recovery, chronic pain and illness and life adjustments/transitions.

 

Sara’s undergraduate education is in child development. Therefore, she not only works with adults, but children as young as age 5. She has a special passion for working with teens and their families. True to Revival’s mission and vision, Sara believes in authentic connections and compassionate care. Working collaboratively, Sara helps clients to build upon their strengths, tap into their resilience and find new ways to face challenges. Ultimately, leading others to a revived life of contentment, peace and purpose.

MaLinda (Mindy) Jackson, LPC, CRC

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, Mindy understands that making the decision to come to therapy can be a difficult choice.

She believes that providing a safe space rooted in mutual respect and trust and free of judgement is the key to the therapeutic alliance. Her approach is focused on helping people reach within, realize, and utilize their strengths. Mindy believes that it is here in this realization that one finds the resources to manage life’s challenges and move forward.

Mindy is able to provide competent treatment for children, teens and adults for a vast number of issues that often bring individuals to therapy. Her areas of expertise are: anxiety, depression, mood disorders such as bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, personality disorders, life adjustment/transition issues, self-esteem challenges, anger management, and dealing with stress.

Furthermore, she utilizes a number of evidenced- based techniques such as: cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, mindfulness, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing in her practice. Mindy describes her work more of a calling than a career and is eager to help you begin your revival today.

Jean Hannigan, LCPC

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, Jean intimately understands that life can be stressful and that life transitions can be overwhelming and confusing. She understands that the upheaval of our life often leads to feelings of fear, helplessness and hopelessness and can be experienced as anxiety, depression or simply a loss of self.  Jean understands that you have questions about therapy….

She understands the stress caused by feelings of loneliness and isolation, the feelings of fear, the feelings of depression and anxiety. Furthermore, she understands that difficult family relationships, grief, marital problems, parenting issues and divorce may seem hopeless.

Her goal is to help provide growth and emotional balance no matter how stuck you may feel.  In Jean’s own words, “I want my clients to feel alive, not just cope with their experiences and to look at life in a new way.” She aims to create moments of change in every session, helping clients expand upon self-awareness and realize their own potential. Helping clients find their true authentic self. Jean works with adults, couples and teens utilizing both a client-centered and holistic approach. Her areas of expertise are: anxiety, depression, narcissistic abuse recovery, parenting issues, adoption, academic difficulties, stress related towards medical issues, grief, PTSD, gender identity and LGBTQ issues. Jean is also certified in hypnotherapy and has a particular passion for working with the LGBTQ community.
